JIGSAW · TERMS
Terms of Service
Effective date: September 2, 2026
Article 1. Purpose
These Terms set out the conditions for using the Jigsaw application and related services provided by Mono Apps (the “Operator”), as well as the rights and obligations of the Operator and users.
Article 2. Service Features
The Operator provides the following features:
- Selecting puzzle images, choosing difficulty, playing puzzles, and saving progress
- Coins provided through rewarded ads and in-app purchases, and hints or original-image saving purchased with coins
- Optional Google or Apple account linking for coin and purchase recovery
- Viewing on-device history and re-saving purchased and saved original images
- Other features designated by the Operator
Article 3. Effect and Amendment of These Terms
These Terms take effect when posted within the Service or on the Operator’s website. The Operator may amend them to the extent permitted by applicable law. Material changes that disadvantage users will be announced through the app or website within a reasonable period before they take effect.
Article 4. Conditions of Use
- Core features can be used without signing in. Google or Apple sign-in may be required for coin purchases and account-based recovery.
- An anonymous account may not be recoverable after uninstalling, clearing app data, or changing devices. This is disclosed before purchase.
- Users must provide the environment required to use the Service, including a current operating system and a stable network connection.
- Minors must obtain consent from a legal guardian before making an in-app purchase.
- The Operator may temporarily suspend all or part of the Service due to maintenance, failures, store policies, or other unavoidable circumstances.
Article 5. In-App Purchases
- Coins are consumable digital products offered through the Apple App Store or Google Play and can be used for hints or original-image saving.
- The exact price and currency are those displayed on the app store purchase screen. Displayed prices may vary due to taxes, exchange rates, and country-specific policies.
- Apple or Google processes the payment. The Operator does not directly collect credit card numbers or bank account information.
- Purchased coins are credited to the signed-in Firebase account. Coin prices and required amounts are displayed before purchase or use.
- If saving fails after payment because of a network failure or photo permission issue, the user may retry through the app’s download feature as long as the same device and app data remain available.
Article 6. Purchase Restoration and Device Changes
- Coin products are consumable in-app products and are not covered by the stores’ standard “Restore Purchases” feature.
- Coin balances and transaction records credited to a linked account are stored on the server and may be recovered by signing in with the same account. Anonymous-account records may become inaccessible after an uninstall, data reset, or device change.
- Apple, Google, or RevenueCat may retain transaction information for payment processing and transaction verification, but this does not mean the app can automatically restore purchase history for a consumable product.
- Users are responsible for backing up and managing files already saved to their photo library.
- If payment is completed but the content is not delivered, the user may contact customer support with the order number. After verifying the transaction, the Operator will consider appropriate measures such as redelivery or a refund.
Article 7. Withdrawal and Refunds
- Cancellations and refunds are governed by applicable law and the refund policy of the app store where the purchase was made.
- Once digital content begins to be supplied or downloaded at the user’s request, the right of withdrawal may be restricted to the extent permitted by law. This does not limit the user’s statutory rights if the content differs from its description or is not properly delivered.
- Refunds for Apple App Store purchases may be requested through Apple’s refund process, and refunds for Google Play purchases may be requested through Google Play’s refund process.
- Duplicate charges, purchases made by a minor without guardian consent, and undelivered or defective content are handled in accordance with applicable law and store policies.
- Access to content provided through a purchase may be restricted after a refund is issued.
Article 8. Advertising and Rewards
- The Service may offer rewarded ads at the user’s option.
- The stated amount of coins is granted only after the ad completes and server-side verification succeeds.
- Ads may be unavailable because of network conditions, ad inventory, an advertising provider’s policies, or technical errors.
- Manipulating ads or repeatedly obtaining rewards through abnormal means is prohibited.
Article 9. User Obligations
Users must not:
- Tamper with, reverse engineer, or misuse the Service or its payment or advertising systems
- Interfere with operation of the Service or create an excessive load
- Copy, distribute, or sell Service content beyond the permitted scope
- Use another person’s payment method or rights without authorization
- Violate applicable law, app store policies, or public order
Article 10. Intellectual Property and Permitted Use of Content
- Rights in the Service’s software, design, trademarks, and content provided by the Operator belong to the Operator or their respective lawful owners.
- Purchased original images may be used only for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as wallpaper on a personal device.
- Images may not be resold, redistributed, commercialized, or licensed to a third party without express permission.
Article 11. Changes to and Discontinuation of the Service
The Operator may change the Service for operational or technical reasons. If the Service is discontinued, the Operator will provide reasonable advance notice and respect users’ statutory rights relating to completed purchases. Some features may change due to outages or policy changes affecting external stores, advertising providers, or content providers.
Article 12. Liability
- The Operator is liable under applicable law for loss caused to a user by the Operator’s intentional misconduct or negligence.
- Unless caused by the Operator’s intentional misconduct or negligence, the Operator is not liable for loss resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, network failures, or outages at app store, advertising, or cloud service providers.
- This Article does not limit any rights users have under mandatory laws, including consumer protection laws.
Article 13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute arises, the parties will attempt to resolve it in good faith. If no resolution is reached, proceedings may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act or other applicable laws.
