Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 2, 2026

Mono Apps (the “Operator”) values the privacy of users of the Jigsaw application (the “Service”) and complies with applicable privacy laws, including the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea. This Policy explains what information the Service processes and how it is handled.

1. Information We Process and Why

The Service can be used with an anonymous account and optionally allows users to link a Google or Apple account so coin balances and purchase records can be recovered after reinstalling or changing devices. The provider identifier, email address, and display name may be processed when provided and authorized by the user.

Puzzle progress and download history are primarily stored on the device. Coin balances, transaction ledgers, and purchased-image identifiers are stored in Firebase. Anonymous accounts may become inaccessible after an uninstall, data reset, or device change and may not be recoverable.

2. How Information Is Collected

3. Retention

When retention is required by law, the information is stored separately and used only to the extent necessary for that purpose. Records concerning contracts or withdrawal of offers and records concerning payments and the supply of goods may be retained for five years where required by law, and records concerning consumer complaints or dispute resolution may be retained for three years.

4. Third-Party Services and International Transfers

The Operator uses the services of the overseas providers below to the extent necessary for advertising, content delivery, and in-app purchase processing. Information may be transferred over encrypted networks when the app is used, an ad is requested, or a purchase is made. Each provider retains information as needed to provide its services and fulfill legal obligations. The actual processing countries may vary depending on each provider’s data centers and subprocessors.

Users may refuse personalized advertising consent or change advertising choices in their device settings. Users may also limit related transfers by not using advertising or in-app purchase features, but rewarded ads or purchase features may then be unavailable. Questions about international transfers may be sent to the privacy contact below.

5. Personalized Advertising and Your Choices

The Service may provide rewarded ads through Google AdMob. In regions where consent is required by law or platform policy, a consent screen is presented before personalized advertising or tracking occurs. Users can change their advertising choices through that screen or their device settings. Refusing consent does not prevent use of the core game, but non-personalized ads may be shown or some ads may be unavailable.

6. Device Permissions

The Service requests permission to add photos when saving an original image to the photo library. This permission is used only to save a purchased image to the user’s device and can be withdrawn at any time in device settings. The photo-saving feature is unavailable without this permission.

7. Deletion

Information is deleted without undue delay using methods that make recovery difficult when its retention period expires or its processing purpose has been fulfilled. Users can delete information stored on their device by clearing the app’s data or uninstalling the app. Information held by third-party services is handled according to each provider’s deletion policy.

8. Your Rights and How to Exercise Them

Users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, withdrawal of consent, or account deletion. Linked accounts can be deleted through in-app account controls or by contacting us. Anonymous accounts may not be remotely identifiable; in that case, the Operator will explain how to clear app data or uninstall the app.

Requests may be submitted to the privacy contact below. The Operator may request the minimum information necessary to verify the identity of the user or a lawful representative.

9. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children under 14. Users under 14 must use the Service and make in-app purchases with the consent and guidance of a legal guardian. If we learn that a child’s information has been processed without consent, we will take appropriate action upon receiving a request through the contact information below.

10. Security Measures

The Operator implements reasonable safeguards, including encryption in transit, least-privilege access, management of third-party service credentials, and software updates. The Operator manages personal information so that it is processed securely and only for its intended purposes through agreements with third-party service providers and their safeguards.
